Upland Fields hunting packages are all set up with the idea of a good old fashioned wild bird hunt in mind. There's no talk of stocked birds to detract from the hunt. We get to know our clients and will customize each hunting package to meet the client's wants and needs. With a variety of cover and terrain, and a mixed bag of pheasant, partridge, and quail available everyday, we can easily cater to any upland bird hunters needs. Every hunt is professionally guided with high quality dogs, but hunters are still welcomes to bring their own dogs. Groups of hunters are never mixed; each party is catered to individually from arrival to departure to guarantee a top notch hunting experience. Custom packages available.
| The average client will have the opportunity to shoot three to four pheasants, two to three chukars, and two to three quail per man in the standard half day hunt. Depending on your preferences you may choose to go with more or less of any of these bird types. The hunter receives a half day of hunting, if he can shoot well and desires to cover a lot of ground he may end up with eight to ten birds in his bag. At a minimum I try to get every hunter three to five birds regardless of his skill level. I don't charge for "extra birds". Bottom line, I don't penalize a hunter for being a good shot. |  |
